About Bus Stop, Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep)

Located on the western part of Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), Bus Stop is a popular dive site in the Andaman Islands. It is a convergent point of reef fishes. Scuba divers will descend to the top of the reef at sixteen feet when they enter the water. They will reach the reef that has patches of soft corals. It slopes gently up to 65 feet. Thus, it is a good spot for beginners as you can learn a lot about buoyancy here. At first, you will not see a lot while traversing down the slope. But when you will reach the deeper edges, you will see a reef comprising massive and branching types of corals on the sandy bottom. You can observe garden eels sticking their heads out of the sand. This dive site is located on the western side of Neil Island. Bus Stop is along a gentle, sloping bottom that begins from 45 feet and goes up to 65 feet. One can spot plenty of garden eels in the sand between reefs.
